H.B. Fisher. Burial was in Holly Lawn Cemetery. Askew died Thursday in a hospital. She was a native of Ahoskie, N.C. She was a member of First Baptist Church, Main Street and had retired as a waitress. Survivors include a daughter, Pamela A. Costello of Smithfield; three sons, Timothy E. Askew and Kenny Askew, both of Suffolk, and Johnny Askew of Windsor; two sisters, Dorothy Godwin of Suffolk and Elizabeth Taynor of Ahoskie; two brothers, James B.
