BRENDA O. BABB

   Windsor - A funeral service was held Monday for Brenda O. Babb at the Sidney 
F. Harrell Funeral Home in Suffolk. Burial was at Holly Lawn Cemetery.

   Pallbearers were: Jimmy Holland, Tommy Jones, Thomas Gardner, Bill Gwaltney, 
James W. Jones, Russell  Robinson, Stanley Clayton, Wilson Holland, Royce 
Copeland and Bob Pearson.

   Babb died of Suffolk, she was the wife of James L. Babb Sr. and the daughter 
of Arthur L. and Mrs. Presson Owens.

   She was a member of Windsor Baptist Church and its Young Adult Sunday School 
Class, assistant teacher of the Young Peoples’ Class, and editor of Dove 
Newsletter. She was past president and a member of the Woodland Young Homemakers.
