A native of Isle of Wight County, she was the widow of Billy Andrew Babb, and daughter of the late John Henry Duck and Mattie Holland Duck. Babb was a member of Antioch Christian Church, Isle of Wight County. Survivors include his daughter, Peggy B. Trew of Franklin; two sons, A. Tillson Babb of St. Augustine, Fla., and J. Rudolph Babb of Suffolk; a half- sister, Gladys D. Cox of Suffolk; a half-brother, M. Randolph Duck of Windsor; seven grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren. The funeral will be conducted Friday at 11 a.m. by the Rev. Kenneth Williams in Sidney F. Harrell Funeral Home. Burial will be in Holly Lawn Cemetery.
