Harrell Funeral Home by the Rev. Luther Marks. Burial will be in Whaleyville United Methodist Church cemetery. Boyce, a native of Nansemond County, died Wednesday in a Norfolk hospital. He was the husband of Lidie Pearce Boyce. He was a security guard with Union Camp Corp. and an Army veteran of World War II. Other survivors include two sons, James Gibson Boyce and John Charles (Chuck) Boyce, and a sister, Nina J. Boyce, all of Suffolk; and two grandsons.
