All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm http://www.usgwarchives.net/va/vafiles.htm ************************************************ RUDOLPH CHARLES BADGER SUFFOLK - Rudolph Charles Badger, 83, of the 2500 block of White Marsh Road, a retired farmer, died July 23, in a hospital. Mr. Badger, a native of Nansemond County, was a past chairman of the Suffolk Electoral Board. He was a charter member and past president of Cypress Ruritan Club and a charter member of the Suffolk Chapter of the Izaak Walton League. He was a past president of the White Marsh Deer Club and a deacon emeritus of Liberty Spring Christian Church. Survivors include his wife, Alice Boisseau Badger; two nieces, Jean D. Newton of Newport News and Rebecca D. Smith of Carrollton; and a nephew, Charles H. Daughtrey of Suffolk. The funeral was conducted July 25 in Liberty Spring Christian Church by the Revs. Dolan Talbert and William A. Grissom. Burial was in the church cemetery. R.W. Baker & Co. Funeral Home handled the arrangements. Memorial donations may be made to the church’s building fund or to Nansemond-Suffolk Rescue Squad.
