Batten Mrs. Georgie Holland Batten, 76, of R.F.D. 2, Windsor, died Friday in Autumn Care Center. A native of Isle of Wight County, she was the widow of Willie Sherman Batten and a daughter of the late Mills Thomas and Mrs. Anna Belle Carr Holland. She was a member of the Antioch Christian Church. She is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Ina B. Holland of Suffolk and Mrs. Dorothy B. Whitley of Windsor; two sisters, Mrs. Eunice Hedgepeth of Suffolk and Mrs. Blanche Braswell of Windsor; two grandchildren and one great- grandchild. A funeral service will be held Monday at 2 p.m in the I.O. Hill and Co. Funeral Home conducted by the Rev. R. Lindsey Poteat and burial will be in Holly Lawn Cemetery.
