ROBBIE BABB BEALE 

MRS. ROBBIE BEALE 

  Mrs. Robbie Babb Beale, 54, of Route 1 Box 7, Smithfield, died Sunday 
in Louise Obici Memorial Hospital, Suffolk.  She was a native of Suffolk 
and the wife of John A. Beale Jr.

  She was a member of Smithfield Baptist Church.

  Other survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Lois Gwaltney of Smithfield; 
a son, John Robert Beale of Capron; and two grandchildren.

  A funeral was held Tuesday in R.W. Baker & Co. Funeral Home, Suffolk, 
by the Rev. Warren F. Taylor.  Burial was in Cedar Hill Cemetery.

  Memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society.

   Smithfield - Funeral services for Robbie Babb Beale, 54, were held Tuesday 
in R.W. Baker & Co. Funeral Home, Suffolk, by the Rev. Warren F. Taylor. 
Burial was in Cedar Hill Cemetery.

   Babb died Sunday in Louis Obici Memorial Hospital, Suffolk.

   She was a native of Suffolk and the wife of John A. Beale, Jr.

   Other survivors include a daughter, Lois Gwaltney of Smithfield and a son, 
John Robert Beale of Capron; and two grandchildren.

Her maternal grandparents, Clement H. & Allie (Cobb) Bazemore, are buried in 
   the Bazemore-Bridgers-Cowan-Price family cemetery, Bertie Co., NC.  The 
   family appears in the 1900 Census in Snake Bite, Bertie Co., NC.
