Broad St., died Wednesday evening in Louise Obici Memorial Hospital. He was the son of the late Walter Thomas Boyer and Mrs. Lenore Page Boyer. He was the husband of the late Annie Steven Boyer. A native of Joplin, Mo., he was a member of the Oxford United Methodist Church and its Men’s Bible class. A member of the Suffolk Masonic Lodge and Mt. Nebo Royal Archs Chapter 20, he was affiliated with the Suffolk Shrine and Elks Club 685. He belonged to the Suffolk Barracks 1045 WWI veterans and the American Legion Post 57. He is survived by one foster daughter, Mrs. Rete R. Odom of Quitman, Ga.; one sister, Mrs. Lionel Schott of Convent, N.J.; two brothers, Curran P. Boyer of Pleasant Hill, Tenn., and Francis A. Boyer of Chillicothe, Ohio. Funeral services will be conducted 2 p.m. Friday at the graveside in Cedar Hill Cemetery by the Rev. William N. Colton. The funeral procession will leave the R.W. Baker Funeral Home at 1:45 p.m. Friday.
