IRMA NORFLEET BARBER

   NEWPORT NEWS - A funeral service for Erma Norfleet Barber, 83, was held at 
2:30 p.m. today in Bethlehem Christian Church Cemetery, Suffolk, by the Rev. 
Jack Lee Flowers Jr., Peninsula Funeral Home, Newport News, was in charge.

   Mrs. Barber died Sunday in Virginia Baptist Home where she had lived six 
years.

   A native of Suffolk, she was the widow of William Edward Barber.  She was a 
member of Seaford Baptist Church.

   Survivors include a sister, Bertha Griggs of Franklin, and nieces and 
nephews.
