A native of Isle of Wight County, Mrs. Braswell was the widow of Dr.* Staley Braswell and the daughter of the late Augustus Allen Turner and Anna Rhodes Turner. Mrs. Braswell was a member of the Antioch Christian Church and the Ladies Fellowship Bible Class. Survivors include two daughters, Betty B. Spivey and Martha B. Holland, both of Windsor; one son, Thomas Wayne Braswell, of Windsor; one sister, Mildred Turner Jones of Hopewell; three brothers, Redell Turner of Suffolk, Fleetwood M. Turner of Windsor and Wilson Turner of Norfolk; seven grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. The funeral will be conducted 2 p. m. Monday in Sidney F. Harrell Funeral Home by the Rev. Victor Hunter. Burial will be in Holly Lawn Cemetery. The family will be at 7 Community Drive, Windsor. Memorial donations may be sent to the Windsor Rescue Squad.
