She was a native of Tennessee. She had retired as a secretary. She was a member of Oxford United Methodist Church. Survivors include her husband, Raymond Miller Baird; and her mother, Alice M. Irvine of Suffolk. Graveside services will be conducted Friday at 11 a.m. in Cedar Hill Cemetery by the Rev. John L. Hoke. Memorial donations may be made to the Nansemond-Suffolk Rescue Squad.
