All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm http://www.usgwarchives.net/va/vafiles.htm ************************************************ NATHANIEL HERMAN BRADSHAW Suffolk - Nathaniel Herman Bradshaw Sr., 95, of 2744 White Marsh Road, a retired chief forest warden, died July 16, 1988, in a hospital. Mr. Bradshaw, a native of Southampton County, was the widower of Elizabeth Anne Byrd Bradshaw. He retired from the Virginia Forestry division after 20 years. He was the oldest member of Liberty Spring Christian Church and a charter member of Liberty Spring Ruritan Club. Survivors include four daughters, Peggy B. Walker, of Portsmouth, Patsy B. Mann of Manteo, N.C., Mary Anne B. Burgess and Hazel B. White, both of Suffolk, a son, N. Herman Bradshaw, Jr., of Suffolk; two sisters, Christmas Belle Gardner of Portsmouth and Mary Ellen Wade of Franklin, Va.; nine grandchildren.; and one great-grandchildren. The funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Monday in Library Spring Christian church by the Rev. W.A. Grissom, Burial will be in the church cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to the Liberty Spring Christian Church Building Fund. Friends may join the family at the residence. Hill Funeral Home, Suffolk, is handling arrangements.
