IVA WHITE BRINKLEY 

  SUFFOLK - Iva White Brinkley, 77, died Nov. 20, 2000. 

  Born Aug. 18, 1923, in Suffolk, she was the daughter of the late Percy and 
Elvie Wilson White and widow of Lewis J. Brinkley.  Mrs. Brinkley was an 
active member of Main Street United Methodist Church. 

  Survivors include her daughters, Deborah F. Brinkley, of Zuni, Mary C. 
Matthews, of Suffolk; grandchildren, Jason Matthews and Rhonda King of 
Suffolk. 

  A funeral will be Wednesday at 10 a.m. in the R. W. Baker & Co. Funeral Home 
with the Rev. Harold Thornton officiating.  Burial will be in Cedar Hill 
Cemetery.  The family will receive friends in the funeral home today from 7 to 
8:30 p.m. and other times at Mary Matthews' home, 232 N. Liberty Spring Road. 
Memorial donations may be made to Main Street United Methodist Church, 202 N. 
Main St., Suffolk, VA 23434.
