Anita Bryant 

  Mrs. Anita Price Bryant, 68, of 1735 N. Main St., died Friday in Louise 
Obici Memorial Hospital.  A native of Washington County, Va., she was the wife 
of Joe Bynum Bryant, and daughter of the late Benjamin F. Price and Lula 
Buckley Price. 

  She was the retired owner of Brunswick Beauty Shop, which she operated for 
33 years.  She was also a member of the Suffolk Art League and was a popular 
Tidewater artist. 

  Besides her husband, she is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Barbara Bryant 
Merchant of The Plains, Va.; one sister, Mrs. Lou Price Crabtree of Abingdon, 
Va.; and three grandchildren. 

  Graveside services will be conducted Monday at 11 a.m. in Holly Lawn 
Cemetery by the Rev. James H. Newsom Jr.  Memorial donations may be made to 
the American Cancer Society.  The family will be at R.W. Baker and Co. Funeral 
Home tonight from 7:30 to 9 p.m.

Her mother (1884 - 1952) is buried in Knollkreg Memorial Park, Abingdon, 
   Washington Co.
