A native of Suffolk, she was the wife of James Barnett. She is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Martha J. Green of Suffolk; one son, Roy A. Powell of Suffolk; two sisters, Mrs. Francis G. West of Suffolk and Mrs. Betty J. Hamm of Hanover, Pa.; three brothers, Ernest E. Gayle, of Hampton, Robert L. Gayle of Jacksonville, Fla., and George J. Gayle of Suffolk; and two grandchildren. Funeral services will be held on Monday at 4 p.m. at the R.W. Baker and Co. Funeral Home by the Rev. O.R. Hardy.
