Brian, a Danville native, was a junior at Forest Glen High School. He was a member of Holland Christian Church and the tennis team of the school. Survivors include his parents, Patricia A. Cox and Beverly B. Cox III; a sister, Jennifer M. Cox of Suffolk; maternal grandparents, Sara Allen and James Allen, and paternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Beverly B. Cox, Jr., all of Newport News. A funeral was conducted Sunday in Holland Christian Church by the Rev. David Seymour. Burial was in Holland Cemetery. Brian Barrett COX, Forest Glen H.S. junior, son of Beverly B. III & Patricia A.
