Harrell Funeral Home by Dr. Wayne W. Poplin. Burial was in Holly Lawn Cemetery. He died Monday in Norfolk General Hospital. A native of Isle of Wight County, he was the husband of Mrs. Mildred Spivey Carr. He was a retired watch repairman. He was a member of First Baptist Church and its Hoggard Sunday School class, Post P. of Travelers Protective Association, Hiram Masonic Lodge 340 and Suffolk Elks Lodge 685. Others survivors include a sister, Mrs. Clara C. Barber of Norfolk; three brothers, Spencer L. Carr and C. Dallas Carr of Virginia Beach and Johnnie E. Carr of Carrsville; and nieces and nephews.
