Oscar W. Crittenden Jr. 

  A funeral service for Oscar William Crittenden Jr., who died Tuesday, was 
conducted Thursday afternoon at Oakland Christian Church by the Rev. William 
M. Everhart and Dr. W. Millard Stevens.  Burial was in Oakland Church 
Cemetery. 

  Pallbearers were Al Saunders, P.D. Howell, Dr. R. Leroy Howell, Henry Gayle 
Bradshaw, Irvin A. Garner, Raymond S. Winslow, S. Burt Hazelwood, J.G. 
Honeycutt. 

  R.W. Baker & Co. Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements. 


Oscar William CRITTENDEN, Jr., retired ship's carpenter, 
   Army veteran of WW-II, 
b. 10 Feb 1919, Crittenden, Nansemond Co., d. 18 Mar 1980, Norfolk, 
interred in Newman Memorial Cemetery*, Oakland Christian Church, Chuckatuck, 
   20 Mar 1980,
