ALLIE LEE FELTON DAVIS

   Suffolk - Funeral services for Allie Lee Felton Davis, 80, were held Tuesday 
in Sidney F. Harrell Funeral Home by the Revs. Cliff B. Smith and R.T. Grissom. 
Burial was in Holly Lawn Cemetery.

   Davis died Sunday in the home of a daughter.

   She was a native of Gates County, N.C., and the wife of George Marriott Davis 
Sr.

   She was a member of Holy Neck United Church of Christ, the ladies Bible 
Class, Woman’s Fellowship and Whaleyville Chapter 137, Order of the Easter 
Star.

   Other survivors include five daughters, Alice D. Turner, Nell D. Saunders, 
and Betty D. Williams of Suffolk, Juanita D. Platt of Clifton Forge and Mary D. 
Fischer of Bristol; a son, George M. Davis Jr. of Boykins; a sister, Mrs. 
Elizabeth F. Eure of Charleston, S.C.; 14 grandchildren; and a great-
granddaughter.
