Louis Daniel 

  Louis Mason Daniel, 76, of 539 Third Ave. died Friday night in Louise Obici 
Memorial Hospital. 

  He was a native of Charlotte County, Virginia and the husband of Mrs. Annie 
Williams Daniel. 

  He was retired with 47 years service with Dixie Guano Co. 

  He was a member of Main St. United Methodist Church and its James L. 
McLemore Bible Class.  He was a member of and past master of Hiram Masonic 
Lodge No. 340, Mt. Nebo Royal Arts Chapter No 20, Portsmouth Commandory No. 5, 
Khedive Temple in Norfolk and Suffolk Shrine Club. 

  He was a past associate guardian of Bethel No. 28 of the Job's Daughters. 

  Besides his wife he is survived by two daughters, Miss Linda Lee Daniel of 
Richmond and Miss Mary Virginia Daniel of Franklin, Tenn.; two sisters, Mrs. 
Fannie D. Tumes and Miss Mary Edith Daniel, both of Richmond and one brother, 
Lee A. Daniel of Norfolk. 

  A funeral service will be conducted Monday at 2 p.m. in R.W. Baker and Co. 
Funeral Home by the Rev. Randall C. Blankenship with burial with Masonic rites 
in Holly Lawn Cemetery. 

  Memorial donations may be made to the Nansemond-Suffolk Rescue Squad. 

  The family will be at his home.
