HELEN CARR DANIELS

   FRANKLIN - Funeral services for Mrs. Helen Carr Daniels, 66, were held 
Tuesday in Sidney F. Harrell Funeral Home by the Rev. Lloyd Smith.  Burial 
was in Holly Lawn cemetery.

   Daniels died Saturday in Louise Obici Memorial Hospital, Suffolk.

   She was a native of Isle of Wight County and the wife of Frank T. Daniels. 
She was a member of Faith Baptist Church of Suffolk and was retired from 
Planters Division Standards Brands Inc.

   Other survivors include three daughters, Mrs. Shirley Mardis of Hesperia, 
Calif., Mrs. Jessie Ray Goodman of Suffolk, and Mrs. Virgie Lee Williams of 
Windsor; three sons. Frank Daniels Jr. and Johnny Carroll Daniels of Suffolk 
and James Edwards Daniels of Newport News; a sister, Mrs. Daisy C. Whelan of 
Petersburg; two brothers, Joseph R. Carr of Franklin and Roland Carr of 
Richmond; 18 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.
