MILDRED EASON DUNNING 

   SUFFOLK - Mildred Eason Dunning, 91, died March 22, 2000, in Ashland 
Convalescent Center.  Born Sept. 17, 1908, in Suffolk, she was the daughter 
of the late William Edward and Della Harrell Eason and the widow of Francis 
Judson Dunning.

   Mrs. Dunning was a former bookkeeper with Lemon Petroleum.  She was a 
member of First Baptist Church and the Dorcas Sunday School Class.

   Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law, John Edward and Marilyn 
Dunning of Richmond; three granddaughters; five great-grandchildren; and a 
sister, Elizabeth E. Small of Hampton.

   A funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Saturday at R.W. Baker & Co. Funeral 
Home by the Rev. Charles W. Thompson.  Burial will be in Liberty Spring 
Christian Church Cemetery.  The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. 
today at the funeral home.  Memorial donations may be made to the First 
Baptist Church Building Fund.
