Stephen D. Evans 

  Services for Stephen Douglas Evans, who died Sunday, were conducted Tuesday 
in the I.O. Hill & Co. Funeral Home with the Rev. John T. Evans and the Rev. 
O.R. Hardy officiating.  Burial was in Holly Lawn Cemetery. 

  Pallbearers included: Frederick T. Heffington, Earl Matthews, Hurley 
Brinkley, J. Samuel Carter, Marion W. Bryant, Johnny Holland, George M. Eure 
Jr., and Clyde M. Rountree.
