Mrs. Epperson, a native of Nansemond County, was the widow of Milton S. Epperson Sr. She was a member of Bethlehem Christian Church. Survivors include a daughter, Patricia E. Parker of Sedley; a son, William A. Epperson Jr. of Suffolk; four sisters, Mildred G. Cross, Elizabeth Brady and Barbara G. Griggs, all of Suffolk and Elouise Maciejewski of Brunswick, Ma.; 10 grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren. The funeral was conducted Tuesday in Hill Funeral Home by the Rev. R.E. Brittle.
