Ellis III, 24, was held Tuesday at 2 p.m. in Sidney F. Harrell Funeral Home, Suffolk, by the Rev. Donald H. Harvey. Burial was in Holly Lawn Cemetery. Ellis died Saturday in his home. A native of Pasadena, Texas, he was the son of Franklin Stanley Ellis Jr. and Carol Kirby Ellis of Suffolk. He was a machinist for Franklin Equipment machinist co. and was a member of Hillcrest Baptist Church, Suffolk. Other survivors include a sister, Debra Lynn Ellis, and two brothers Glenn Curtis Ellis and Byron Andrew Ellis of Suffolk; and maternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Carl A. Kirby of Pasadena.
