LILTON GAY

   WINDSOR - Funeral services for Lilton Gay, 70, were held Monday in Sidney 
F. Harrell Funeral Home, Suffolk, by Dr. R.E. Brittle.  Burial was in Western 
Branch Baptist Church cemetery.

   Gay died Friday in Louise Obici Memorial Hospital, Suffolk.

   He was a native of Isle of Wight County and the husband of Bernice Carr 
Gay.  He was a retired farmer and member of the Antioch Christian Church.

   Other survivors include a daughter, Mary Louise Bell of Windsor; four sons, 
James Lilton Gay of Winton, Robert Led Gay of Greensboro, N.C., David Ray Gray 
of Manassas, Va., and Jesse James Gay of Yanceyville, N.C.; a sister, Susie G. 
Bell of Chesapeake; 18 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
