He was a native of Isle of Wight County and the husband of Mrs. Bernice Carr Gay. He was a son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Jimmy Gay. He was a member of Antioch Christian Church. Other survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Mary Louise Bell of Windsor; four sons, James Lilton Gay of Windsor, Robert Lee Gay of Greensboro, N.C., David Ray Gay of Manassas, and Jesse James Gay of Yanceyville, N.C.; one sister, Mrs. Susie G. Bell of Chesapeake: 18 grandchildren; and three great- grandchildren. A funeral service will be held Monday at 2:30 p.m. in Sidney F. Harrell Funeral Home by Dr. R.E. Brittle. Burial will be in Western Branch Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will be at the funeral home for visitation Sunday from 7 to 9 p.m. ****************************************************************************** LILTON GAY WINDSOR - Funeral services for Lilton Gay, 70, were held Monday in Sidney F. Harrell Funeral Home, Suffolk, by Dr. R.E. Brittle. Burial was in Western Branch Baptist Church cemetery. Gay died Friday in Louise Obici Memorial Hospital, Suffolk. He was a native of Isle of Wight County and the husband of Bernice Carr Gay. He was a retired farmer and member of the Antioch Christian Church. Other survivors include a daughter, Mary Louise Bell of Windsor; four sons, James Lilton Gay of Winton, Robert Led Gay of Greensboro, N.C., David Ray Gray of Manassas, Va., and Jesse James Gay of Yanceyville, N.C.; a sister, Susie G.
