Jessie Goodwin 

  Mrs. Jessie Eason Goodwin, 57, of 311 S. Broad St., died Sunday in Norfolk 
General Hospital.  A native of Edenton, N.C., she was the daughter of the late 
John Quinton [sic; Quincy*] Eason and Mrs. Jessie Layton Eason. 

  She was a member of West End Baptist Church and its Friendship Sunday School 
Class.  She was also television hostess at Louise Obici Memorial Hospital. 

  Survivors include her husband, William A. Goodwin; two daughters, Sandra B. 
Bangley of Zuni and Rhonda J. Goodwin of Suffolk; two sons, Quinton E. Goodwin 
of Suffolk and Donald E. Goodwin of Zuni; one sister, Luraner E. Perkins of 
Toms River, N.J.; two brothers, William C. Eason of Brownsville, Tx., and 
Emmett E. Eason of Suffolk; and five grandchildren. 

  The funeral will be conducted Tuesday at 3 p.m. in Sidney F. Harrell Funeral 
Home by Dr. Donald D. Dunlap.  Burial will be in Holly Lawn Cemetery.  The 
family will be at Sidney F. Harrell Funeral Home tonight from 7:30 to 8:30.

Her father (1896 - 1938) is buried in Ballards Bridge Baptist Church Cemetery, 
   Tyner, Chowan Co., NC. 

Her mother (1900 - 1978) 2m. William Curtis ALEXANDER & 3m. William Wilson 
   PORTER.  She & Mr. PORTER are buried in Beaver Hill Cemetery, Edenton, NC, 
   as are Jessie GOODWIN's in-laws, William Albert Sr. & Tallulah Bell (MOORE) 
   GOODWIN.
