A native of Franklin, she was the daughter of the late Nellie Butler Turner. Glassco was a member of Bethel Assembly of God, taught its Beginners' Sunday School Class, served as past president of the Women's Ministry, and sang in the choir. Survivors include her husband, Charles Robert Glassco; a daughter, Donna J. Karafa of Blackcreek; a stepdaughter, Karen L. Glassco of Chicago, Ill.; a stepson, Steven C. Glassco of Chicago; her father, James O. Turner of Suffolk; two sisters, Marjorie T. Engle and Vanessa T. Bradshaw, both of Suffolk; and three grandchildren. The funeral will be conducted Wednesday at 2 p.m. by the Rev. William E. Hawkins in Bethel Assembly of God. Burial will be in Holly Lawn Cemetery. The family will receive visitors Tuesday from 7:30 to 8:30 p.m. in the funeral home, and other times at the residence. Joyce Ann (TURNER JIMERSON; Mrs. Charles R.)
