MARY VIRGINIA FANNY GOMER

   SUFFOLK - Mrs. Mary Virginia Gomer, 91, of 5100 Manning Road, died Thursday 
at Louise Obici Memorial Hospital.

   Born in Gates, N.C., she was a member of Holy Neck United Christian Church.

   Survivors include three daughters, Mrs. Lucille G. Price and Mrs. Rachel T. 
Jackson, both of Suffolk, and Mrs. Florine G. Horay of Virginia Beach; three 
sons, H. Palmore Gomer Jr. and Bob Gomer, both of Suffolk, and Lyman L. Gomer 
of Portsmouth; 16 grandchilddren; and 11 great-grandchildren.

   A funeral was conducted Saturday in Hill Underwood Funeral Home by the Rev. 
Cecil Smith.  Burial was in Holly Lawn Cemetery.
