Joseph W. Lasley. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Gardner died Monday in Louise Obici Memorial Hospital. She was a native of Southampton County and the wife of Joe Henry Gardner. She was a retired licensed practical nurse. She was member of Somerton Friends Meeting and its Adult Sunday School class, the Woman’s Christian Temperance Union, and Woman’s Missionary Society. She also was a member of Box Elder Hone Demonstration Club, The Friendly Fellowship of Holy Neck, and the Box Elder Pollyanna group. Other survivors include a son, Joseph D. Gardner of Ivor; a sister, Elizabeth H. Lasley of Murphy, N.C.; and three grandchildren. Mary Edith (CAMP; Mrs. Joe H.)
