Mrs. Mary V.B. Hobbs 

  NORFOLK - Mrs. Mary Virginia Beale Hobbs, 67, of 195 W. Randall Ave., died 
Tuesday in Lake Taylor City Hospital. 

  She was a native of Isle of Wignt county, a daughter of the late Lloyd 
Thomas and Mrs. Rosa Lee Butler Beale, and the wife of Wade Hampton Hobbs. 
She was a member of Ocean View Baptist Church and the Philathia Sunday School 
class. 

  Other survivors include four sisters, Mrs. Joseph B. Trapnell of 
Williamsburg, Mrs. Beulah B. Branch and Mrs. Annie B. Ficare of Suffolk, and 
Mrs. Bessie B. Mills of Portsmouth; and nieces and nephews. 

  A funeral will be held Thursday at 11 a.m. in Cedar Hill Cemetery hy the 
Rev. Bob Estes.  The body will be taken from Sidney F. Harrell Funeral Home, 
Suffolk, to the cemetery Thursday at 10:45 a.m.

MARY VIRGINIA BEALE HOBBS

   NORFOLK - A funeral service for Mrs. Mary Virginia Beale Hobbs, 67, will be 
held today at 11 a.m. in Cedar Hill Cemetery by the Rev. Bob Estes.  Sidney F. 
Harrell Funeral Home, Suffolk, has charge.

   Mrs. Hobbs died Tuesday in Lake Taylor City Hospital.

   A native of Isle of Wight County, she was the wife of Wade Hampton Hobbs. 
She was a member of Ocean View Baptist Church and the Philathia Sunday School 
class.

   Other survivors include four sisters, Mrs. Beulah B. Branch and Mrs. Annie 
B. Ficare of Suffolk, and Mrs. Bessie B. Mills of Portsmouth; and nieces and 
nephews.
