Jr.) HABEL, former nurse, b. 21 Dec 1911, Moore Co., NC, d. 10 Mar 2000, Newport News, interred in Cedar Hill Cemetery*, Suffolk, 27 Dec 2000, "Virginian-Pilot" (Norfolk, VA), Mar. 11, 2000 *Cedar Hill list, an extension of the Southampton County Historical Society {SCHS} Cemetery Project: http://files.usgwarchives.net/va/nansemond/cemeteries/cedar_g.txt Her parents are buried in Union Presbyterian Church Cemetery, Carthage, Moore Co., NC. (Find a Grave Mems. #44667277 & #44667282) Her paternal grandparents are also buried there. There's an issue with her maternal grandparents (Aug 2020), who are buried in Jackson Springs Presbyterian Church Cemetery, Jackson Springs, Moore Co., NC. Berta is mistakenly linked to the Murdock BRYANT (d. 1895) buried at Union Church, and her mother Rebecca E. (GAINEY) BRYANT is linked both to that man & the Murdoc BRYANT (1844-1913) with who she is marked.
