She was a native of Notasulga, Ala., and the widow of Rex Dennis Hubbard [sic*]. She was a member of First United Methodist Church of Albany, Ga. Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Robert C. Speer of Suffolk, four grandchildren, and six great-grandchildren. The funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the graveside in Holly Lawn Cemetery by the Rev. Randall C. Blankenship. R.W. Baker and Co. Funeral Home is handling arrangements. Her parents, John Willis & Helen Elizabeth (HARDWICK) PARKER, are buried in Salem Macon Baptist Church Cemetery, Notasulga, AL. Find a Grave Memorial #25117974 gives John Winters PARKER. John (1846 - 1931) was a Confederate veteran, having served in Co. C, Ferrell's Battery, Gen. Roddy's Brigade, Forrest's Div. He applied for a pension in 1923; his widow (1856 - 1943) applied for a pension in 1935.
