Annie Hathaway 

  Annie Mae Bunting Hathaway, 80, of 108 and a half Oakdale Terrace, a native 
of Robertsonville [sic; Robersonville], N.C., and the widow of William Clayton 
Hathaway, Sr., died Tuesday in a hospital. 

  Mrs. Hathaway had retired from Leggett's department stores as a seamstress 
after 25 years.  She was a 58-year member of First Baptist Church and its 
Dorcas Class.  Survivors include a son, William C. Hathaway Jr. of 
Williamsburg; two grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. 

  The funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Thursday in R.W. Baker and Co. 
Funeral Home by the Rev. H.B. Fisher.  Burial will be in Holly Lawn Cemetery. 

  The family will be at the funeral home from 7 to 9 p.m. today. 

  Memorial donations may be sent to the First Baptist Church building fund or 
to the Nansemond-Suffolk Rescue Squad.

D.Cert. 84-000907 gives her mother as Lyda (WHITFIELD) BUNTING - apparently 
   confused with aunt Mollie (WHITFIELD; Mrs. Claudius L.) BUNTING. 

Her parents, "Kate" Kader Addison & Lida (ROEBUCK) BUNTING, are buried in 
   Robersonville Cemetery, Robersonville, NC.
