Howell died on Monday night at 9 o’clock at his home near Suffolk, in his 74th year. He is survived by his widow, Mrs. Asenatt C. Howell, five sons, and two daughters. Messrs. E.J. Howell, of Holland, M.A., J.H., J.R. Howell, of South Quay, and P.A. Howell, of Suffolk; Mrs. E. Lee Everett and Miss Essie B. Howell, of Suffolk; twelve grandchildren, one brother, S.R. Howell, of Holland, and four sisters, Mrs. Lucy Spence, of South Mills, N.C., Mrs. Ann Welsh, of Norfolk, Mrs. Katherine March and Mrs. T.T. Pittman, of Reynoldson, N.C. Burial services were held at South Quay Baptist Church, on Wednesday afternoon at 2 o’clock. Mills E.
