Holland, 60, of the 500 block of Pretlow St., died May 1, in Norfolk hospital. Mr. Holland, a native of Holland, was a retired captain of Pinkerton Security Services at Southampton Memorial Hospital. He was member of Dendron United Christian Church and an Army veteran of World War II. Survivors include his wife, Dorothy Byrum Holland; two daughters, Dorothy Nell Council of Fort Myers, Fla., and Patricia Ann Holland of Petersburg; his mother, Nellie Gray Holland of Holland; two sisters, Mary Nell Mathias and Doris Jane Gillis, both of Holland; two grandchildren; and two great- grandchildren. The funeral was conducted Monday in Wright Funeral Home by the Rev. R.E. Brittle. Burial was in Holland Cemetery. John T.
