He was a native of Holland Station, Va. He had been the owner and operator of A. Wrenn and Son Co. of Norfolk. He was also a former vice chairman of the Chesapeake Bay Bridge and Tunnel Commission and chairman of the police and trial board in Princess Anne County. He was the last living charter member of the Norfolk Lions Club and a member of the Virginia State Highway Commission. He was a Mason. Survivors include a daughter, Anne L. Bole of Tequesta; four grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. Graveside services will be conducted Monday at 11 a.m. in Holland Cemetery, Holland, by the Rev. David Seymour. Sidney F. Harrell Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
