A native of Nansemond County, she was the daughter of the late Elliott Edward and Annie Melissa Collins. She was a member of Holy Neck Christian Church, its Women's Fellowship Class, the Ladies Bible Class, and the Friendly Fellowship. Survivors include her husband, George Ellis Harcum; two sons, George Edward Harcum and Jesse Lee Harcum of Suffolk; two sisters, Mildred C. Jackson and Mrs. Annie C. Holland of Suffolk; and five grandchildren. The funeral will be conducted Wednesday at 3 p.m. in R.W. Baker and Co. Funeral Home by the Revs. E. Cecil Smith, Charles W. Thompson and Dan Bowers. Burial will be in Holland Cemetery. The family will be at her home. Memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society. R.W. Baker and Co.
