Thornton H. Horton 

  Graveside services for Thornton Haslett Horton who died Wednesday were held 
Saturday at 11 a.m. in the Whaleyville United Methodist Church Cemetery by the 
Rev. T.T. Markham.  Pallbearers were Kenneth Horton, William I. Franklin, Jr., 
James E. Griffin, Jr., Horace Griffin, Jr., John W. Baggett, Jr., and Dillard 
Horton, Jr.  Sidney F. Harrell Funeral Home was in charge.

b. 26 Oct 1917, Whaleyville, Nansemond Co., d. 2 Jul 1975, Hampton, 
interred in Whaleyville Methodist Church Cemetery*, 5 Jul 1975,
