Born in Suffolk, she was the daughter of the late James Tilman Hyatt and Indiana Ellis Hyatt. Along with her late husband, Jesse N. Jackson, Mrs. Jackson was owner/operator of Jackson's Grocery on E. Washington St. in Suffolk for over 20 years. She was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star, and West End Baptist Church, Suffolk. She is survived by a sister, Mildred Hearn Schillaci of Smithfield; sister- in-law, Blanche Morrison, San Diego, Calif.; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held Friday, May 4 at West End Baptist Church in Suffolk with the Rev. Skip Irby officiating. Burial followed in Holly Lawn Cemetery in Suffolk. The Purviance Chapel of J.T.
