A native of Nansemond County, she was the widow of James Thomas Jones, and daughter of the late J.T. Rawles and Mary Dickson [sic; Dixon] Holland Rawles. She was the oldest member of Holland Christian Church. She was a charter member of the Holland Woman's Club. Survivors include a daughter, Edith J. Bayly of Waterford, Va.; two sons, Thomas Rawles Jones and James Robert Jones, both of Holland Station, Suffolk; two brothers, Henry A. Rawles of Suffolk and Ernest L. Rawles of Holland Station; 10 grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. The funeral will be conducted Monday at 11 a.m. in Holland Christian Church by the Rev. David M. Seymour. Burial will be in the Holland Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to the memorial fund of the church. R.W. Baker and Co.
