Mrs. Jones, a native of Nansemond County, was the widow of James Thomas Jones. She was the oldest member of Holland Christian Church and a charter member of Holland Women’s Club. Survivors include a daughter, Edith J. Bayle of Waterford; two sons, Thomas R. Jones and James R. Jones, both of Suffolk; two brothers, Henry A. Rawles and Ernest L. Rawles, both of Suffolk; 10 grandchildren; and five great- greatchildren. The funeral was conducted Monday in Holland Christian church by the Rev. David M. Seymour. Burial was in Holland Cemetery.
