Johnson James Ralph Johnson, 72, of 3656 Pruden Blvd. died Monday afternoon in Norfolk General Hospital. A native of Nansemond County, he was a son of the late John Abram Johnson and Mrs. Anna Luke Johnson, and he was a retired farmer and also from Norfolk Naval Shipyard. He was a life member of Providence United Methodist Church and served on its administrative board many years and member of its Williams Bible Class. He was a former member of Kings Fork Ruritan Club. Survivors include a brother, Horace P. Johnson of Suffolk; three nieces; and seven nephews. A funeral service will be held Wednesday at 4 p.m. in R.W. Baker & Co. Funeral Home by the Rev. John Herring. Burial will be in Cedar Hill Cemetery.
