Edward Kinsey Sr. 

  Edward John "Eddie" Kinsey Sr., 66, of 1 College Ct., died Sept. 14, 1992, 
in Obici Hospital.  A native of Norfolk, he was the son of the late Robert 
Henry Kinsey Sr. and Emma Ansell Kinsey. 

  He had retired after 30 years as the postal clerk in Crittenden.  Kinsey was 
a member of Suffolk Christian Church and former choir member for 40 years.  He 
was a past president of the American Postal Worker's Union Local 1376. 

  Survivors include his wife, Pearl Richardson Kinsey; two sons, Edward John 
Kinsey Jr. of Suffolk and Dr. Robert Henry Kinsey IV of Danville, Pa.; two 
sisters, Kathleen M. Deans of Portsmouth and Hazel L. Kinsey of Suffolk; two 
brothers, William H. Kinsey Sr. and Robert E. Kinsey Sr., both of Suffolk; and 
four grandchildren. 

  The funeral will be conducted Thursday at 3 p.m. by the Rev. Bruce A. Havens 
in Suffolk Christian Church.  Burial will be in Holly Lawn Cemetery. 

  The family will receive visitors Wednesday from 7:30 to 8:30 p.m. in Hill 
funeral home, and other times at the residence. 

  Memorial donations may be made to the Nansemond-Suffolk Volunteer Rescue 
Squad, P.O. Box 1515, Suffolk, Va. 23434.
