Pinner St., died April 2, 1989, in a Norfolk hospital. A native of Suffolk, she was the widow of Herman Smith King, and daughter of the late Menalcus Scott and Thelma Hare Scott. She was a Methodist. Survivors include a son, James M. "Pete" King of Suffolk; and a brother, James Howard Scott of Franklin. Graveside services will be conducted Tuesday at 11 a.m. in Cedar Hill Cemetery by the Rev. Thomas B. Nee. The family will receive friends at the residence. Hill Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society.
