GEORGE DIAZ McCOTTER

   SUFFOLK - George Diaz McCotter, 80, of the 100 block of Kingsdale Road, a 
retired truck driver, died Oct. 29, in a nursing home.

   Mr. McCotter, a native of Gates County N.C., was a member of Great Fork 
Baptist church.  He was retired from Anchor Motor Freight of Maryland.

   Survivors include his wife, Beatrice O. McCotter; a daughter, Patricia Ann 
Regan of Haddonfield, N.J.; and four grandchildren.

   The graveside service was conducted Saturday in Cedar Hill Cemetery by the 
Rev. O.R. Hardy.
