PEARL PULLEY NELMS

   SUFFOLK - Mrs. Pearl Pulley Nelms, 67, of 237 Chestnut St., died Saturday 
at Louise Obici Memorial Hospital.

   She was born in Southampton County and retired from Williams Clothing Co. 
in 1982 after 23 years.

   She was a member of Main Street United Methodist Church, Wesley Bible Class 
and Circle One.

   Survivors include her husband, Richard Crawley Nelms Jr.; one daughter, 
Miss Linda Lee Nelms of Suffolk; and five sisters, Mrs. Rose Luttrell of 
Charlottesville, Mrs. Irma Norfleet and Mrs. Hyla Taylor, both of Suffolk, 
Mrs. Elizabeth Thacker and Mrs. Sallie Hundley, both of Smithfield.
