EDITH EDWARDS NORFLEET

   STONY CREEK - Edith Edwards Norfleet, 57, died June 15.

   Mrs. Norfleet, a native of Norfolk*, was a member of Sappony Baptist Church.

   Survivors include her husband, Abram E. Norfleet Jr.; three daughters, 
Nancy N. Simmons of Richmond, Ellen N. Tabor of Fairfax and Rosemary N. 
Segulin of Clearwater, Fla.; two sons, Russell E. Norfleet of Denver, Colo., 
and Bruce W. Norfleet of West Germany; her mother Chloe C. Edwards of Windsor; 
three sisters, Ione E. Yetman of Atlanta, Ga., Alma E. Poole of Norfolk and 
Carolyn E. Rountree of Richmond; a brother, William J. Edwards Jr. of Windsor; 
and three grandchildren.

   The funeral was held Thursday in Sappony Baptist Church.  Burial was in 
Western Branch Baptist Church Cemetery, Myrtle.

   Owens Funeral Home, Jarratt, handled the arrangements.

   Memorial donations may be made to the church or to the Stony Creek 
Volunteer Rescue Squad.
