T.A. Powell. Burial was in Meadowbrook Memorial Gardens. Pallbearers were Joe Webb, Frank Whitley, Johnnie Hedgepeth, Richard Harrell, Larry Willis, R.A. Willis, Maynard Gwaltney, Raymond Pugh, Junior Carr and Bobby Carr. Arrangements were by Hill Underwood Funeral Home. D.Cert. 83-039989 gives b. 8 Jul 1916, son of Lou & Rosa (DANIELS) PIPPINS. Birthdate from his WW-II draft card. His mother, Rosa L. (CONDANIEL; Mrs. Lee Sr.) PHIPPIN 2m. George Allen HEDGEPETH & 3m. James Henry HOLLAND. She (1881 - 1947) is buried unmarked in Mount Carmel Christian Church Cemetery, Walters, Isle of Wight Co. His father (ca. 1875 - 1930) may also be buried there.
