Hill and Co. Funeral Home by the Rev. O.R. Hardy. Burial was in Holly Lawn Cemetery. Powell died Tuesday in his home. A native of Isle of Wight, he was survived by a daughter, Martha P. Green of Suffolk; two sons, Roy Albert Powell of Suffolk*; three sisters, Francis Harrell and Estelle Thorne, both of Suffolk, and Susie Belle McNamara of Richmond; two brothers, William Roger Powell Jr. of Smithfield and Floyd A.
