WILBER JACKSON POWELL 

   SUFFOLK - A funeral service for Wilber Jackson Powell, 57, was held at 
2 p.m. Friday in I.O. Hill and Co. Funeral Home by the Rev. O.R. Hardy. 
Burial was in Holly Lawn Cemetery.

   Powell died Tuesday in his home.

   A native of Isle of Wight, he was survived by a daughter, Martha P. Green 
of Suffolk; two sons, Roy Albert Powell of Suffolk*; three sisters, Francis 
Harrell and Estelle Thorne, both of Suffolk, and Susie Belle McNamara of 
Richmond; two brothers, William Roger Powell Jr. of Smithfield and Floyd A. 
Powell of Suffolk and three grandchildren.

*Only one son listed 

Wilber Jackson POWELL, machinist, 
Isle of Wight Co. native, d. 23 Nov 1982, at home, Suffolk, age 57, 
interred in Holly Lawn Cemetery*, Suffolk, 26 Nov 1982,
