Mrs. Rose, a Gates County, N.C. native, was a member of Suffolk Christian Church and the widow of John Rose. Survivors include three sisters, Noreen Mitchell, Essie Jernigan, both of Suffolk, and Bonnie Williams of Franklin; and four brothers, James S. Eure and John D. Eure, both of Suffolk, Linwood W. Eure of Summerville, S.C., and Nat L. Eure of Myrtle Beach, S.C. The funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Thursday in R.W. Baker & Co. Funeral Home by the Rev. Paul Carmany. Burial will be in Cedar Hill cemetery.
